04

Customer Responsibilities & Prerequisites

To ensure service completion within the 4-hour limit, the Customer must meet the following conditions prior to the technician’s arrival.

!
Machine preparation is required.

The machine must be completely unboxed and positioned in its final operating location before the technician arrives.

4.1 Site Readiness

The setup site must be fully accessible, clean, level, safe, and equipped with suitable, stable power outlets.

4.2 Unboxing & Positioning

The machine must be completely unboxed and placed in its final operating location before arrival.

The Customer must provide sufficient personnel and lifting equipment; Ricoma technicians shall not independently handle heavy machinery transport.

4.3 Operator Presence & Active Participation

Designated operators must be present throughout the session and actively participate in hands-on training. Passive observation alone does not constitute valid training.

4.4 Consumables & Testing Materials

Sufficient test materials, including garments or panels, backing, thread, and needles, must be prepared on-site beforehand.

4.5 Failed Site Readiness & Secondary Visits

Important

If the technician arrives on-site but service cannot be performed due to non-fulfillment of Customer responsibilities under Sections 4.1–4.4, the visit will be deemed completed.

Any required secondary on-site visit will be billed as a new service booking.

05

Online Acceptance, Completion & Consumer Right of Withdrawal

5.1 Online Acceptance

Checking the agreement box during website checkout constitutes full acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms.

5.2 Completion Report

Upon service completion, the technician will present a Service Completion Report. The Customer agrees to review and sign this report.

Refusal to sign without valid technical grounds entitles Ricoma Europe to verify completion through other verifiable means, including photo documentation.

5.3 Right of Withdrawal for Consumers (B2C)

B2C Consumer Notice

Consumer customers retain their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. However, by requesting service performance prior to the expiration of the withdrawal period, the Consumer acknowledges and explicitly agrees that their right of withdrawal is waived once the 4-hour on-site service has been fully performed.

06

Limitation of Liability

6.1 Training Scope

On-site training guides operators in safe and standard machine operation. It does not guarantee specific output capacity, commercial profitability, or defect-free end products.

6.2 General Liability Cap

Except as provided under Section 6.3, Ricoma Europe is not liable for downtime, lost profits, or indirect damages resulting from subsequent operator error.

6.3 Statutory Exceptions

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude Ricoma Europe's liability for:
